American Nuclear Society Student Section American Nuclear Society and Graduate Student Advisory Committee at the University of Utah University of Utah

About Us

We are Located in room 1206 of the Merrill Engineering Building at the University of Utah. The University of Utah's Student Section of the American Nuclear Society together with the Nuclear Engineering Program Graduate Student Advisory Committee work hard to encourage the study and participation of students in the Nuclear Engineering field. Furthermore, we work at the Center for Excellence in Nuclear Technology, Engineering, and Research (CENTER) in an effort to advance research opportunities (that we are often in charge of), attend and present at conferences, and give tours of our, 100 kW TRIGA reactor. Visitors are always welcome to see our facilities, hear about our program, and even join in on our activities and fun.

Our Student Section of the American Nuclear Society was established December 1, 1977.
